At Octaga Green, sustainability is not just an initiative—it is the foundation of our philosophy. Our operations are driven by a commitment to carbon neutrality and environmental stewardship, integrating clean energy, circular resource use, and responsible production practices. The distillery’s agricultural waste-based power plant ensures that our energy needs are met through renewable sources, significantly reducing our carbon footprint. Every by-product, from Distiller’s Dried Grains with Solubles (DDGS) to Fusel Oil or treated process water, is repurposed or returned to nature responsibly.

We are proud to have been a member of the United Nations Global Compact since 2008 and to have achieved carbon neutrality across our Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 upstream emissions. We are now significantly investing in carbon reduction technologies—such as carbon capture and storage (CCS)—to reduce our Scope 3 downstream emissions and truly be net-zero. These efforts align with our commitment to maintaining a closed-loop ecosystem and our mission to produce world-class spirits in harmony with the planet.
